Description

PWA-1484 CRM Standard for OES and XRF Analysis

This is a Certified Reference Material (CRM) which is used for quality control and calibration of spectrometers. This metal standard is designed for use on both Optical Emission Spectrometers (OES) and X-Ray Fluorescent Spectrometers. Both the chemical composition for PWA-1484 and the chemical composition of this CRM are listed below, for your reference. The size of this sample is a quart section of a 88mm (~3.5 inches) cylinder and 20mm (0.79 inches) high/thick. This is a nickel-base alloy standard and comes with a certificate of analysis. A shortened version of this Certificate of Analysis is available in the image section, for your reference.

This CRM typically delivers in 2-4 weeks.

Certified Reference Material (CRM): A certified reference material, or CRM, is a type of reference material that has been thoroughly analyzed and characterized using multiple validated methods to determine its composition or properties. The results of these analyses are then used to establish certified values, along with associated uncertainties. CRMs are produced and certified by accredited organizations or laboratories following internationally recognized standards, such as ISO Guide 34 and ISO/IEC 17025. The certification process includes interlaboratory comparison and statistical analysis to ensure accuracy and traceability.
