Trusted Standards for Reliable Gold Assay and Precious Metals Testing
At Alloy Geek, we offer a curated selection of Certified Reference Materials (CRMs) specifically designed for gold ore analysis using handheld or benchtop XRF analyzers. These materials are essential for calibration, quality control, and method validation in gold exploration, mining, metallurgy, and refining.
Whether you're a geologist in the field or a lab technician conducting high-precision assays, our gold ore standards are prepared from thoroughly homogenized geological materials and certified by accredited laboratories to ensure traceability and accuracy.
Why Choose Alloy Geek Gold Ore CRMs?
- XRF-Ready: Each sample is ground, sieved, and packed in 32 mm sample cups with X-ray transparent film, ready for direct analysis.
- Certified & Traceable: Backed by full certificates of analysis (COAs) including mean values, standard deviations, and measurement uncertainty.
- Realistic Matrices: Designed to simulate actual ore bodies—ideal for comparing unknowns in quartz veins, hydrothermal deposits, or gold-bearing sulfides.
- Wide Concentration Range: From low-ppm trace gold for exploration to high-grade concentrates for refinery-grade testing.
- Multi-Element Suites: Many CRMs also include silver, copper, arsenic, and pathfinder elements such as antimony and bismuth—critical for understanding ore genesis.
Applications
- Field Portable Handheld XRF (pXRF) Calibration
- Ore Grade Control and Cutoff Grade Determination
- Assay Lab Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC)
- Mineralogical Research and Geochemical Profiling
- Exploration and Core Logging Programs
