Description
This ASTM A485 Grade 1 (UNS K19667) reference material is a high-carbon, chromium-alloyed bearing steel used as a standard for calibrating and verifying your spectrometer (handheld XRF, handheld LIBS, benchtop XRF, OES). This material provides certified composition values established through interlaboratory testing, giving you known composition data for calibration checks, instrument verification, and quality control on bearing steels and other high-carbon alloy steels.
For field verification and PMI work, many customers pair this material with NEW or PRE-OWNED handheld XRF analyzers for rapid, on-site analysis.
