Description
This Custom 455 type stainless steel reference material is a precipitation-hardening stainless alloy used as a standard for calibrating and verifying your spectrometer (handheld XRF, benchtop XRF, OES). Because this material contains a high percentage of chromium and nickel, corrections should be made for possible element interference and dilution effects.
For field verification and PMI work, many customers pair this material with NEW or PRE-OWNED handheld XRF analyzers for rapid, on-site analysis.
