Description
Benchtop XRF for Non-Destructive Precious Metal Testing
The Gemoro XRF Assay is a portable, battery-powered benchtop XRF analyzer designed for fast, non-destructive gold karating and precious metals analysis. Built for jewelers, refiners, bullion dealers, and precious-metal buyers, it delivers highly accurate results in seconds with a fully enclosed, safety-interlocked design.
For accurate gold, silver, and platinum analysis, many professionals rely on new handheld XRF analyzers for fast, non-destructive precious metals testing.
About this Benchtop PowerHouse
The Gemoro XRF Assay brings laboratory-grade precision into a compact benchtop system that’s easy to use, fast to operate, and safe for daily testing environments.
Unlike handheld XRF units, the XRF Assay features a closed-beam, interlocked chamber with a fixed analysis geometry, improving repeatability while eliminating radiation exposure during testing. It operates on battery or AC power, making it suitable for both fixed counters and mobile use.
Gold karat/plating measurements are delivered in seconds, with the ability to distinguish low-karat alloys from high-purity gold and identify common precious-metal alloying elements accurately.
Typical Applications
- Gold karat verification (jewelry, scrap, bullion)
- Precious metals alloy identification (Au, Ag, Pt, Pd, etc.)
- Buy-back, intake, and fraud screening
- Retail, refinery, and assay office workflows
Features
- Benchtop XRF with true portability – battery or AC powered
- Non-destructive testing – no acids, no filing, no surface damage
- Fast results – karat readings in ~1 second, full analysis in seconds
- Plating alert capability – helps identify plated or layered materials
- Closed-beam safety design – interlocked chamber with zero radiation exposure
- Targeted analysis – fixed 3 mm spot with precise targeting
- Targeting Camera – one for targeting, one for documentation
- Hot-swappable batteries – extend runtime without shutdown

FAQs
Does this damage jewelry or bullion?
No. XRF testing is completely non-destructive.
How fast are results?
Gold karat readings are typically displayed in about one second, with full alloy results in seconds.
Is this safer than a handheld XRF?
Yes. The closed, interlocked chamber prevents radiation exposure during operation.
Who is this best suited for?
Jewelers, pawn shops, precious metals refiners, bullion dealers, and precious-metal buyers who want fast, accurate, and repeatable results.
