Description

This glass certified reference material is designed for XRF analysis of glass and provides a silica-rich glass matrix with major and trace elements for instrument verification, method development, calibration checks, and training.

The glass matrix is a soda-lime silicate glass containing approximately 71% SiO₂ with CaO, Na₂O, Al₂O₃, MgO, and K₂O. It contains elevated concentrations of several XRF-relevant transition metals, particularly Fe, Cr, Mn, and Co, making it useful for evaluating XRF performance on glass materials.

Certified Elements

Al, As, Ba, Ca, Cd, Co, Cr, Fe, K, Mg, Mn, Mo, Na, Ni, Pb, Sb, Si, Sn, Ti, V, and Zn.

Additional information values are available for elements including Cu, Sr, and Zr.
