Alloy 2 Calibration (most common)
The Alloy 2 Calibration package for the Bruker S1 TITAN is a versatile, multi-metal solution designed for fast, accurate alloy identification—including light elements like magnesium (Mg), aluminum (Al), and titanium (Ti). It features Auto Mode with SmartGrade™ functionality, enabling instant, intelligent alloy recognition without operator input—ideal for PMI, manufacturing QC, and scrap sorting.
This mode includes user-selectable calibrations for:
- Stainless steels
- Tool steels
- Low alloy steels
- Nickel, cobalt, copper, and zinc alloys
- Light metal alloys (Al, Mg, Ti)
- General alloys not defined by specific family
Optimized for both bulk materials and small samples, Alloy 2 also includes Shavings and Turnings Mode—perfect for analyzing drillings, wire, or stand-off applications where flat surfaces aren't available.
An alloy check sample is included for on-site verification and calibration stability, making this mode the go-to choice for users in metal recycling, aerospace, automotive, energy, fabrication, and general manufacturing.
Alloy 29 Calibration
A more selective alloy package with enhanced LIGHT-element sensitivity (Mg–Bi), Alloy 29 is optimized for high-performance sorting and verification. It supports identification of specialized alloys in high-value recycling, tool steels, specialty manufacturing, and quality control in sectors like energy, instrumentation, and construction
Precious Metals Calibration
Tailored for jewelry and precious metal applications, this mode analyzes Au, Ag, Pt, and Pd alloys—and includes gold karat detection. It is indispensable for jewelry manufacturing, grading and trading, recycling, and asset verification, supporting accurate assessments in goldsmithing, precious-metal refining, and consumer markets
Heavy Metals & Nutrients in Soil Calibration
